Since the hyaluronic acid used is similar to the body\u2019s own hyaluronic acid, it will be reabsorbed within time; depending on the thickness of the gel this will be over a 6-18 month\u2019s period. For that reason, the treatment needs to be repeated after some time. But what at first may sound like a disadvantage, is basically an advantage! Using a substance that is like the body\u2019s own, that the body is even metabolising and reabsorbing, there will be no harm or permanent damage caused.<\/p>\n
